Gary Potter Roof Replacement Turns Into Ingenious Plan to Save Family Room This is a letter of reference for Jim Cambron who is the owner of JBC Roofing and Gutters. In the summer of 2010, we hired Jim’s company to replace our roof and install roof insulation on our vaulted ceiling family room. In the past, our family room had differed in temperature from the rest of the house by 10 degrees. It has a beautiful cathedral ceiling that we desired to keep. Jim engineered a plan to install insulation below the new roof shingles by raising the roof line of the family room.
